Our Covid-19 Response:

In accordance with the most recent health recommendations of Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Manual Therapists we have adjusted our operations to ensure the health and safety of our patients and practitioners/staff. Changes due to COVID-19 include the following:

  • Staggered Appointments - We have staggered our appointment times in order to minimize the number of people in the common area at all times.

  • Pre-appointment Health Assessment - You will be required to take the AHS COVID-19 self-assessment test online when booking your appointment, as well as on the day of your appointment. You will receive an email with a link to the assessment, please have it filled in before your appointment starts.

  • Limiting the Number of People who attend an Appointment – We would ask that only those being treated attend the appointment. However, we also understand there are situations where accommodations must be made.

  • Limited Access to Waiting Room – Whenever possible we would ask that patients wait in their car until a couple minutes before your appointment time, at which point you are welcome to come on in. If you prefer, we will also call you when we are ready for your appointment so that you can come straight into the room rather than sit in the waiting room.

  • Disinfecting of Common Spaces.

  • Disinfecting of Treatment Rooms.

  • Use of Face Mask– Alpine Osteo practitioners/staff will be wearing face masks at all times. We do require that patients wear one too in common areas. Please discuss discuss it with your practitioner if you are not able to.

  • Hand Hygiene - Hand hygiene is paramount to stop the spread of COVID-19. We will therefor be providing hand sanitizer and will be asking you to sanitize your hands upon entering the clinic.
